High Expectations
Caring Companions wants our caregivers to be the best in the business. As a result we spend a lot of time interviewing and screening caregivers to make sure that they meet our rigorous standards. We, of course, are looking for experience from our caregivers, but we are also looking for compassion and the right attitude. We want caregivers that genuinely enjoy working with the elderly and view their careers as more than just a job.

Rigorous Screening
Once we decide to hire a caregiver, we run a series of background checks and reference checks. We want to make sure that these checks come back confirming that we are making a good hire. Next, our caregivers go through an orientation process so that they understand how Caring Companions operates as well as our client-driven service.

Matching Caregivers and Clients
When placing a caregiver with a client, our administrative staff makes sure that the caregiver has the skills, experience and personality that will match the needs of the client. We make sure that the caregiver understands the plan of care that is in place and is comfortable with the assigned tasks. We have found that the better our caregivers understand the unique needs of our clients, the better they are able to meet and even exceed expectations.

Ongoing Supervision
Our administrative staff stays in contact with our clients and caregivers to make sure that things continue to run smoothly. The administrative staff tries to anticipate changes in the plan of care and react to the changing needs of our clients. Of course, our clients have the final say what services they need and want us to provide.

Bonded and Insured
Each of our caregivers are bonded and insured to provide our clients additional peace or mind.
